Strengthening Democracy in Our Community

DDHC is a local organization in Hampden County, Massachusetts, focused on educating and supporting our community, bringing together like-minded people of various backgrounds, and standing together in the fight against authoritarianism.

We are a grassroots organization of concerned citizens, created through Red, Wine & Blue's TroubleNation. We work together to protect democracy against extremism and misinformation, educate about local media and media literacy, protect human rights, voting rights, ensure fair elections, and promote civic engagement in the various towns that comprise Hampden County.
